about

Nominated for four Canadian Folk Music Awards for Album, Producer (with Rob MacDonald), Contemporary Singer and English Songwriter of the Year, Rob Lutes's 8th solo album was recorded during Fall 2020 and released on April 16. Come Around was co-produced by Rob Lutes and longtime collaborator Rob MacDonald. It features 11 original songs and a gritty electric cover of the acoustic blues classic In My Time of Dyin'. Replete with Lutes's literate, melodic songcraft, Come Around is another example of why Canadian critic Daniel Lemay calls Lutes "one of the most important songwriters of his generation."

We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
